Our Voice

Our voice is something each of us has to create change, whether that be through casting our ballot or advocating for better policies on the local, state, and federal levels.

Part of creating change is sharing our story to create better understanding and compassion. Every immigrant has a story about their journey, and their life in the United States. Second, third, and later generation Americans also bring a rich understanding as to what it means to be an American. Beyond identity, the stories of Latinx people illustrate our ability to overcome tremendous obstacles; our community's deep connections to the world and each other; and the ways in which we have built a better, more prosperous America.

As part of our mission to ensure more Delawareans hear the stories of those impacted by the immigration system, we created the Entre Nosotr@s radio program. Airing on ZMX radio in Sussex County, the weekly show features stories from Latinx Delawareans who share their experiences. Below are some of their stories, which you can also find on our YouTube channel .
