Whether or not you have children in school now, voting in your local school board elections is one of the best ways to support your community.
This year, Delaware's school board elections are Tuesday, May 14.
The polls are open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Election Day
On Tuesday, May 14, the polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Voter registration deadline
You do not need to be registered to vote in Delaware school board elections. You must have the right to vote.
Deadline to apply for absentee voting
Friday, May 10, at 12:00 noon.

Vote by mail
To vote absentee you must qualify for one of the reasons listed on the Department of Elections website. See the complete list at elections.delaware.gov.
Election Day
All eligible Delaware voters can cast their ballot in person on Election Day, Tuesday, May 14. The polls are open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
