September 4, 2024 – September 8, 2024, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Voter Registration Deadlines

August 17, 2024 - Deadline to Register to vote in the Primaries

September 6, 2024 - Deadline to Request an Absentee Ballot

Ways you can vote

To help you plan how to cast your vote, below are the options available to Delaware voters.

Early In-Person

For Delaware’s 2024 Primary Election, the early voting period will be:

Wednesday August 28, 2024 to Saturday, August 31, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Tuesday, September 3, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Wednesday, September 4 to Sunday, September 8, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

You can vote at ANY early voting location in your county of residence during the early voting timeframe.

Voting In-Person on Election Day

Delaware’s Primary Elections are on Tuesday, September 10. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Absentee Ballot

If you are unable to vote in person on Election Day, you may be eligible to vote by absentee ballot. To vote absentee you must qualify for one of the reasons listed on the Department of Elections website. More info at bit.ly/de-absentee-voting.
